Google introduces translating software
Google recently launched its translation software, allowing net surfers to search the Internet in any language and have the outcome translated in their preferred language. A test version of the software is available at http://translate.google.com/translate_s.
The "cross-language information retrieval" feature of the novel software "in effect, will make the Web universal," says Udi Manber, Google's vice president of engineering. The Cisco's purchase of BroadWare marks them as a trendsetter in the security market, signifying the union of modern IT security with time-honored physical security. The merchandise, along with the staff of 38, are spread over the offices of 12-year-old BroadWare in Santa Clara and McLean, VA, and will be incorporated into Cisco's market technologies group.
Renesas Technology launches new tool for car navigation systems
