Senior Visual Basic Programmer Jobs description
A senior visual basic programmer creates and documents conceptual and detailed designs and writes a code based on the conceptual description. He/she works in coordination with the senior programmers, support staff and product manager to plan the manner in which the program codes can be changed and enhanced and creates labels and reports using Crystal Reports. The responsibilities of a senior visual basic programmer include implementing new program features,eliminating redundancy and extracting reusable components and creating compatible implementation of existing APIs, working with the user on development of the software specification, creating and documenting a conceptual and detailed design and writing a code based on a conceptual description of the business logic. A senior visual basic programmer should have good understanding of Visual Basic .NET and Visual Basic 6, SQL Server databases, SQL, ADO.NET , Windows 2000/NT Server and Windows XP/2000/98, ASP.NET , Networking/LANs, TCP/IP protocol , MS Word, MS Excel, MS Exchange, InstallShield Professional , Web design, HTML, JAVA along with experience in developing applications backed by different database systems and developing VB 6 desktop applications with ADO.
