Experienced Computer Systems Analyst with years experience in the following: Set-up and time code alignment of acoustic and atmospheric sensors across a large area networked array; Linking all sensors to digital recording hardware/software and data analysis systems; Monitoring the real-time health and integrity of all networked systems for faults and interruption.
Job Requirements :
Responsible for maintaining, calibration and readiness of all hardware, software, and data acquisition systems linking a networked large outdoor array of high sample rate sensors dispersed over several miles connected by cable and fiber and synchronized to GPS time code.
Responsible for in-depth knowledge of the system set-up, networking, data acquisition, data storage and data storage/recovery of the following systems: PXI acquisition systems manufactured by National Instruments Corporation, GRAS Sound and Vibration Sensors, Columbia Weather Systems, Kestrel Weather Systems, NRG Weather LiDAR Systems, Itronix ultra mobile computers, and SoundPro’s digital audio recording systems. Communicates the status of all systems to the Test Director. Must be able to
