Cyber Software Engineer 4
Cyber Software Engineer 4 Northrop Grumman Information Systems, a leading global provider of advanced solutions for its military, intelligence, civilian, state, local, and commercial customers, is currently seeking both front-end and back-end developers to join our team, now and for future openings. Responsibilities The selected candidate will work closely with the customer to understand system requirements and features. They will also implement system interfaces and features as defined by system architecture guidelines. The environment is a team-oriented, Agile environment which produces system components, based on 90 day spin cycle with two week iterations. Candidates will also be responsible for the following: - Designing, developing, documenting, testing and debugging applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions - Conducting multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, designing, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software - Determining computer user needs - Analyzing system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls - Preparing operating instructions, designing and developing compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems - Ensuring that all other software standards are met
Requirements The selected individual should possess the following skills and abilities to qualify for this position: - Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent documented combination of training and work experience - 9 years of experience as a software engineer/developer, supporting software architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOS tools, and integration (with new and legacy systems) - 9 years of experience with Java, C , or C for back-end developers OR 3 years of experience with JavaScript or Ruby on Rails for front-end developers - 9 years of experience within the Intelligence Community - Prior knowledge with Linux or UNIX operating systems - Ability to work in a team using Agile, Scrum methodology - Ability to work independently to develop and review code Desired Skills & Abilities It would be highly-preferred, but not required, if the selected candidate possessed the following skills and abilities: - TS/SCI clearance with polygraph - Prior experience with Oracle databases - Previous experience with Ozone Widget Framework experience - Prior experience with REST interfaces
