Data Warehouse tech lead - BO Informatica

Profile

Developing in a Data Warehouse environment included but not limited to: (Business Objects, ETL, Informatica, SAS) Must have technical expertise and be involved in portions of the analysis phase of the application development cycle. Works with little supervision on the analysis, design, coding and testing of components of larger systems. Interacts with end users to develop detailed specifications from which code will be written. Develops project plans and reports progress to The Hartford's management. Understanding of relational database environments. Experience with the Business Objects and Oracle toolsets using PL/SQL, SQL*Plus and Business Objects WEBI and full-client tools. Proven technical and analytical skills. Ability to develop work plans and follow through on assignments with minimal guidance. Interface with business customers, business analysts, data analysts, other developers and IT support staff to complete assignments.
Must demonstrate aptitude to become a strong technical leader. Oversee technical deliverables for invest and maintenance projects through the software development life cycle, including validating the completeness of estimates, quality and accuracy of technical designs, build and implementation. Collaborate with project team members to enforce development guidelines and best practices. Candidate should be highly data analytic, have good leadership skills to delegate the work to onshore and offshore partners and drive the development efforts with focused delivery mindset.
P&C Insurance of Commercial, Personal Lines or Claims a plus.
