Consider this opportunity. You would get to work on an incredible variety of product engineering challenges and have real ownership over entirely original embedded projects. My client is a highly profitable, 24-year-old, internationally recognized leader in the custom product engineering space; they support some of the biggest names in technology and basically help bring ideas to life! You will be responsible for embedded software and taking a simple idea and turning into a reality. You’ll get the chance to work on everything from medical devices, life science products, and other industrial and consumer market products. It is a VERY exciting environment!
Position Responsibilities:
Design and develop highly complex and often greenfield embedded / bare metal software solutions.
Interface directly with customers and help them translate ideas and concepts into tangible product requirements and engineering plans.
Work cross-functionally with a multi-disciplinary team (mechanical, electrical, project management) to scope, architect, and implement new product designs from end-to-end.
Core Requirements:
BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and AT LEAST 3 years of professional experience.
Demonstrated experience with hardware/software integration and developing software for device-oriented, embedded platforms.
Strong proficiency in C/C .
Experience with RTOS, embedded Linux, and/or other embedded OS.
Highly Desired Qualifications/Experience:
Development on embedded microcontrollers or DSPs.
Software development for medical devices.
Device communication protocols and related application experience.
Application development experience on mobile platforms (e.g. Java, Android, iOS).
QP/Quantum Framework.
