Responsible for endto-end management of multiple medium to large sized, moderate to highly complex infrastructure and IT security work efforts or projects.
Plans, executes, and finalizes projects on time, on budget, following appropriate SDLC standards, and delivering specific, measurable results to business partners.
Oversees the day to day direction and overall project responsibilities for associate team resources.
May provide input to performance reviews.
Manages project components including financial management, quality management, control management, and business continuity management.
Develops a broad functional and application knowledge within the domain.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal relationships with business partners, analysts, the IT delivery team and Quality Assurance. Works with system analysts and business partners to understand business objectives.
Provides feedback, insight and recommendations, translating appropriate business needs into technology project solutions.
Utilizes understanding of business to evaluate proposed solutions, probe options, and make recommendations, ensures that the design and integration of proposed systems, software, and hardware solutions leads to the development and growth of the business through effective use of technology.
Analyzes project risks, issues, costs, and benefits to make relevant recommendations, proposing evolutions and changes where needed. Effectively communicates project expectations, issues, risks, and decisions to project team, business stakeholders, and IT.
Provides leadership and direction to project teams by coordinating the work of analysis and development resources.
Coaches, mentors, and motivates project team members and influences them to take positive action and accountability.
As needed, provides support for production issues such as monitoring production cycles, performing configuration updates, and testing production fixes; works with outsource vendors to monitor and ensure appropriate support levels.
Within the Infrastructure and Production Monitoring and Support function, the Project Manager will be responsible for server install, vendor interfacing, and management of equipment delivery and storage.
Within the Security Project function, the Project Manager will be responsible for driving security projects to conclusion and collaborating with the IT Security Product Manager.
Also works closely with the Corporate Information Security Officer and Audit and Risk Management.
BA or BS degree in Systems, IT, Business Management, or related degree preferred or equivalent experience; Health Care Management a plus
Masters degree a plus
8-10 years infrastructure experience required, direct production support environnent experience in
Health
Care Management a plus
8-10 years of IT security experience and IT security product deployment experience, direct security product production support experience a plus
6 plus years of Project Management experience, with demonstrated use of the project management life cycle, including tools and methodologies required, with Health Care Management background a plus.
Demonstrated understanding and experience with vulnerability management, virus protection and vendor management
Demonstrated understanding and experience with server installation / management, and vendor management
ITIL certification or demonstrated working toward certification a plus
