Global Technical Services, LLC (GTS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Bering Straits (BSNC) is seeking an Information Assurance/Security Specialist (Journeyman).
SUMMARY:
The successful candidate will support the AFMC/A4N division computer support operations function at Wright Patterson Air Force Base that includes management of all division hardware and software inventories, standard desktop software configurations, and trouble shooting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrated knowledge of installation and configuration of Air Force (AF) network user hardware and software.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software failures and resolving computer user trouble tickets
Demonstrated knowledge and experience managing the AF standard desktop configurations for assigned hardware inventories.
Demonstrated experience as an Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) custodian.
Knowledge and experience in performing as an Information Assurance Officer (IAO) for a directorate level organization
Experience performing IT support duties as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO).
Certified in Security CompTIA
Certified A CompTAI

Job Requirements :
Required (Minimum) Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent GED certificate
Minimum5-7 years of demonstrated experience as an Air Force logistics client support administrator.
Active Secret Clearance
Certified in Security CompTIA
Certified A CompTAI
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to be flexible, adapt to changing requirements,
Handle multiple tasks while meeting key deadlines;
Ability to operate as a member of a strong team as well as work independently to complete daily tasks and report status as required;
Strong communication skills;
Driven and highly motivated team member
Preferred:
AF IT helpdesk experience
LAN-WAN support experience

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
