We are looking for an experienced architect to guide design and development of our Java applications and to build core technology.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement core and critical technology
Advise and review other engineers on their design and architecture
Produce high quality code and deliver to schedule
Work with other architects to ensure a consistent cross-platform approach
Write technical documentation
Conduct and participate in design and code reviews
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
7 years as a Software Engineer
5 years Java, EJB, JSP programming in a JBoss, Linux environment
Solid understanding of SOAP and REST web services
Expertise with Struts 2 or other MVC framework
Ecommerce, EDI or retail system application know-how is a plus
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
