Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
Five years experience
in web-based software and application development
or at a web hosting service provider
MUST Haves: Web Hosting, Linux, Windows
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
Design, build and scale customer and application-specific web hosting environments.
Proactively identify opportunities and issues with existing and proposed web applications.
Perform web application load testing and benchmarking.
Participate in requirements gathering with new customers and develop level-of-effort estimates for new projects.
Collaborate with internal teams and customers.
Provide afterhours support when needed.
Position Summary
The Web Hosting Solutions Architect is part of a specialized team that bridges the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. This position works with business stakeholders and development teams to ensure that solutions are standardized, optimized, monitored, documented and meet our standards for security, scalability, and supportability. Additionally they remain current on web hosting industry trends for managed hosting and managed applications and bring ideas and implement solutions that bring new capabilities and efficiencies to our client's hosting operations.
