a global manufacturer and marketer of heat applied graphics and equipment to create identity for textiles for customized apparel located in St. Clair Shores, MI. We are actively seeking a seasoned NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR.

The Network Administrator
is responsible for network servers/operating systems, LAN/WAN infrastructure, and data integrity through backup/restore procedures. Perform Windows server administration including the maintenance of Active Directory – Group Policies, Login Scripts, users and group memberships. The network Administrator should be able to troubleshoot and solve complex level 3 issues which can include all LAN/WAN/VPN connections, firewalls, switches and remote connectivity between companies.
EDUCATION:
Associates degree or equivalent field experience with at least 4 years of experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Strong CISCO skills, switching, routing, nexus switches a plus. CCNA certification preferred but not required.
Strong VMWARE skill, server virtualization, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting.
Symantec backup exec, deduplication (yes that is a word), troubleshooting and corrected failed backup jobs. Working with multiple media servers, local and remote.
Wireless, in an Enterprise, using Enterprise level technologies – Radius authentication
Firewall – Fortigate experience preferred – IPS, AV, Web filter…Design, manage and monitor, organization of firewall rules.
Microsoft Exchange – strong experience, office365 a plus
Microsoft SQL server 2005 – 2008
Antivirus technologies, responding to alerts, proper cleaning of machines
Microsoft Active Directory – MCSA certification or equivalent experience
Microsoft VISIO
Network monitoring tools – Solarwinds, etc.
General knowledge of a Storage Area Network – (SAN), both fiber channel and ISCSI
Phone system knowledge, nice to have but not a requirement
