Title: Project Manager - Infrastructure (contract position)
Work with a dynamic company who is a leading supplier to the world's energy industry.
This person will be the PM for several new projects that are budgeted for 2013. The first project this person will be working on will be a Lync implementation. Any Lync experience will be a huge plus.

Overall Knowledge: Knowledgeable with IT infrastructure, Experienced in data and voice communications hardware/projects Experience in and knowledge of networking hardware, voice hardware (analog and digital) and communications protocols Has previous experience in project management
Overview: Works with internal and/or external parties to organize components of a major project. Duties include coordination of schedules and activities, tracking progress, and reporting results. Also, serves as the primary point of contact for all communications internal to the project, and responsible for executing the internal program communication plan.
Responsibilities Coordinates and directs the activities of project team members. Develop accurate and informed scopes of work including schedules and budgets. Manage project schedule, budget, milestones and deliverables to ensure project progress from conception to completion including change management. Ensures all project requirements and/or objectives are documented. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Proactively manage project dependencies, changes in project scope and critical path, and devise contingency plans. Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project. Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Qualifications Exceptional written, electronic and verbal communication skills Detailed planning and organizational skills Proven analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining proper priorities and scheduling. Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments. Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise. Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
Education & Experience Bachelors Degree in Business Information Management, or a related field; or the equivalent in education and work experience. Three to five years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
Travel Travel to CLIENT sites in North America may be required.
