Sr. Java Software Engineer

Profile

We are in search of a Software Engineer to be a key member of a new team that will tackle the latest issues facing enterprise device management. We are building new functionality into ZENworks ( ****) that will enable management of all of the various mobile devices flooding today’s enterprise. As a Senior Engineer, you will work with the development, testing, documentation and human factors teams to design, develop and test a world class product!
Responsibilities
Developing software to run in a highly scalable, enterprise environment and/or a SaaS/hosted environment.
Integrating technologies (3
rd
party and tech you develop) into existing product frameworks
Producing and reviewing requirements and design documents
Identifying issues, solutions, and following through to resolution with minimal supervision
Researching customer issues
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or equivalent and 2 years related work experience
Experience using agile development on a number of different projects
Experience programming in Java, HTML, XML, Javascript and other Web UI-related technologies
Experience in Internet/web-based software development
Ability to analyze, isolate, and document complex technical issues
Strong understanding of how to take requirements from multiple sources and create a new feature
Ability to achieve results with little supervision or direction
Ability to avoid distractions and deliver against deadlines
Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and quick learner
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as on a team
