We are looking for a profile of a candidate for this role that is like a Consultant who not only is responsible for project delivery, but can also become a trusted advisor to the Client and key stakeholders. This person still needs to have a technical mindset who is a qualified technology PM handling software deployments and process improvement...but will also be able to handle Account Management to continuously service the client.
Our Client located in the Mid-West is looking for a Leader that can manage the Implementation Phase and post go-live support.
This position will be responsible for building out a unique system for their Clients to include a Work Management System and CRM with complex reporting capabilities.
This person should have a strong Program Management & Project Management background working hand in hand with Business Analysts, Developers, and Clients. This position is Client Facing and requires someone who can translate business requirements into Technical Solutions. A strong emphasis on reporting will be helpful!
Requirements:
- 10 Years of Professional Experience
- Experience in a Client Facing Role dealing as the Project Manager
- Experience Managing Business Analysts and working with Developers
- 50% - 75% Travel
- Experience managing 2-3 year Projects
- Experience defining Process Flows

Someone who has more technology oriented skillset around software (supporting implementations for backoffice ERP, supply chain, Field Service Systems)

Essential Job Functions:
The primary responsibilities include:
Provide overall leadership and direction for company’s programs and accounts as it relates to technology deployment and system support, including business process and requirements definition, data and reporting management
Identify opportunities to leverage the technology platform to provide operational efficiencies
Collaborate with Clients and company project stakeholders to implement business process improvements and the impacts to technology tools.
Develop a thorough understanding of the account success criteria; develop processes and plans to deliver against those criteria.
Develop project plans and provide transition planning oversight for new engagements
Develop project standards and practices to ensure consistent and reliable implementations across programs and regions.
Lead strategic reporting initiatives to provide program and clients overall program status.
Communicate and coordinate across department boundaries during the entire program life cycle from contract signing through steady state operations.
Provide project stakeholders with project status updates.
Partner with account stakeholder to identify and assist with the expansion of program services.
Manage and lead a team of business and data analysts to provide excellent service to the client and the account.
Interact regularly with Managing Directors and Account Managers as a primary point of contact for technology initiatives and effective system & platform utilization.
Must be highly client focused with a strong attention to detail and customer service.
Qualifications/Requirements
Functional experience and a proven track record in:
Program and Project Management methodologies.
Process improvement and Change Management practices.
Experience with enterprise reporting and data-analytics tools.
Support of multiple account portfolios a plus.
Education and Experience
The ideal candidate for this position will have the right mix of management and technical experience; as well as the following:
A 4-year college degree in a business related field or equivalent experience, master’s degree a plus.
Candidates must have 10 years’ experience in working with IT related projects.
Minimum 5 years’ experience managing personnel and multiple projects simultaneously.
A broad understanding of managing projects with the ability to deliver on a large number of success criteria
The ideal candidate will also have experience and understanding electronic data exchange within the utility industry.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written;
Demonstrated ability to foster positive and constructive working relationships.
Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities;
Strong business acumen and an in-depth understanding of the technology and financial implications of project success
Ability to understand and add value to high-level management interactions.
