Seeking a candidate to contribute to a web development/IT team. You would be joining a small, experienced team that is responsible for defining, implementing and supporting all business technologies from the website and supporting servers to Salesforce, Zendesk, Expression Engine, various home-grown web systems built in PHP and Javascript. We happily leverage SaaS opportunities where it makes sense but are seeking someone that can help us drive our service providers intelligently and help us plan and contribute to expanding our systems. As we grow we expect to continue to build out small, custom web systems for various departments as well as large projects such as multi-datacenter failover for web services and their supporting databases. A background with Salesforce integrations and development is a strong plus.
Qualifications:
7-10 years experience doing system administration and general web application development or Salesforce development. Needs a solid understanding of LAMP stack development and the SOAP and REST web service architectures. Javascript, Shell, and Perl experience will be helpful. Ability to take general direction and goals of a project, ask relevant questions and drive to a set of requirements then build and test it. The candidate will have a track record of success in defining and building successful webclient/server applications as well as the ability to do Linux system administration. Will be expected to maintain/update existing technologies including website forms, mySQL database updates for new forms as needed, building out new web facing applications that communicate to a variety of partner APIs including e-commerce, Salesforce.com (CRM), direct email provider(s), Zendesk (support), Jira, GIT, Expression Engine, vBulletin and more.
Telecommute position (must be within US) but with preference to someone that can come to an office in Mountain View, CA or Evergreen, CO on a semi-regular basis. Team is in Pacific Time Zone.
