Network Analyst Jobs
The essential functions of a network analyst are system administration, network planning and implementation and network administration, maintenance and support. A network administrator should display an extensive understanding in the application of microcomputer architectures, Operating Systems, LAN, WAN, and TCP/IP protocols, Windows and Unix-Linux, Linux tools and utilities, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, TCP/IP switching and routing, wireless networking, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Sendmail, spam filtering, domain name service, Netfilter/iptables, Web servers, server clustering, hardware virtualization, C/Java Programming, shell scripting, HTML, VPN, RAS support, internetworking & system security.
A network administrator has to install, upgrade and configure client accounts, network printing and security and software on servers, perform evaluation and up gradation of hardware and software components, develop disaster recovery measures, read, analyze and interpret technical information, perform maintenance and monitoring of voice and data servers, e-mail servers, anti-virus systems, anti-spyware systems, anti-spam systems, security appliances, firewalls, routers and internet monitoring system and plan and install network system and cable.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is required for this position preferably with CCNA certification along with experience in local and wide -area network administration.
