Canon delays introduction of SED Technology
Japanese camera and copier maker Canon will delay the introduction of its much-awaited flat-panel TVs. It has now been postponed to later this year, following cost cutbacks and a patent dispute the company is facing in the U.S. The electronic giant was charged by a U.S. court for breach of contract for a patent for surface-conduction electron-emitter display (SED) technology. The company took full control over SED, Inc., in January, a partnership set up with Toshiba Corp. to develop SED technology.

SED panels are reputed to produce clear images because of their light-beaming technology. Canon had plans to venture into the TV sector in the last quarter of the year with products equipped with this new technology.

What I liked about the service is that it had such a comprehensive collection of jobs! I was using a number of sites previously and this took up so much time, but in joining EmploymentCrossing, I was able to stop going from site to site and was able to find everything I needed on EmploymentCrossing.
