At Canopy Biosciences, a Bruker Company, we develop high-end microscopy for advanced spatial profiling research in biology and medicine. We are a small, dynamic team with research, development, production, marketing, and sales in the US and Germany. As part of our goal to deliver an excellent experience for our customers, we strive to fully support our business applications both internally and externally and are looking for a highly qualified IT Systems/Networking Administrator candidate to join our remote Field Application Support Team.
Responsibilities
Oversee the IT environment, production servers, and cloud-based servers including installation, monitoring, securing, and performing backup procedures to guarantee disaster recovery plan reliability.
Deliver IT support services, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues for end-users in the field and internal operations.
Optimize performance and reliability by configuring, installing, and managing new releases and models.
Ensure the implementation of cybersecurity best practices.
Document and manage IT assets, including hardware and software inventory.
Drive process improvement initiatives with the Bruker IT department.
Stay current with emerging industry technologies and best practices.
Provide off-hours on-call IT support as needed.
Support projects as directed by senior staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent, or equivalent working experience
2-3 years of experience in IT support or administration, with a preference for candidates familiar with databases
Proficient in networking concepts with hands-on experience in configuring, installing, and administering systems.
Experience with cloud storage/computing
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with end-users.
Proven problem-solving abilities and experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Strong knowledge of security fundamentals, industry best practices, and safeguarding end-users using cybersecurity awareness concepts.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong inclination for: career growth, continuous learning, applying innovative ideas, and engaging in collaborative brainstorming.
Willingness to travel internationally.
