What is the EDI Development Team?

We are constantly fostering the innovation and the implementation of cutting-edge technologies while building high-performance and scalable solutions. The EDI Development team is primarily responsible for building new Business to Business (B2B) solution integrations with Tyson’s key customers and Tyson’s enterprise application landscapes for both US domestic and International busines operations. This team is in constant collaboration with most areas of IT and across multiple Tyson business units. Tyson Foods Delivery as a Service (DaaS) team is seeking a technical leader for our EDI/Integration Development team. The ideal candidate is a creative, demonstrated leader with superior technical abilities. This opportunity requires excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Key focus areas will be delivery, standardization, and governance of key technical areas. Looking for someone with a technologist mindset with high initiative and integrity who excels in excellent customer service.

Do you have the leadership qualifications?

Experience in organizing large scale projects and delivering quality releases on schedule. Strong track record in building, developing, and operating a team of technical engineers and successfully drive cross-functional technical projects.

Do you have the technical qualifications?

Required Skills:

Proficiency in an enterprise EDI platform (IBM Sterling, OpenText, Mulesoft)

Proficiency with data communication protocols (FTP/SFTP, AS2) & EDI ANSI x12 standards

Proficiency with Direct EDI, EDI via VAN and Web EDI implementations

Varied and strong experience with various operating systems, encryption algorithms and markup languages (XML, HTML, etc.)

Experience in API usage (REST/SOAP)

Strong SQL skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Integration SaaS: (e.g., SnapLogic, Informatica)

Experience with Cronacle Redwood or other job scheduling platforms

Advanced understanding of middleware technologies/tools such as Pub/Sub messaging, message queues, ActiveMQ, Message Broker.

Advanced Experience in JavaScript & Python scripting languages

Experience designing and building integrations for EAI applications such as SAP, Workday and SugarCRM.

Demonstrated understanding of AWS, GCP tools and services
