Description

The Lead Technology Leadership Professional in the Site Reliability Engineering organization works with multiple IT development, production support, platforms, and infrastructure teams to ensure the design, performance, and continuous improvement of many products. This role requires an independent and highly accountable and skilled individual making complex design decisions and working across multiple IT and business areas to steward many product and support roadmaps for critical business use.

Responsibilities


Carries out technical planning, architecture oversight, and promotion of required support requirements across multiple IT teams, external strategic vendors, and a broad group of user stakeholder groups.
Manage requirements for platform growth and maintenance.
Partner with multiple development areas to advance modernization and cloud transformation efforts.
Experience with influencing technical direction across multiple, large-scale implementations
Encourage continuous process improvement and develop a team dedicated to 24-hour support and upkeep for on-prem and cloud products.
Evaluates the integration and interoperability of platforms and service to guarantee a unified architecture across dependent areas.
Advises partners advice on important issues so they may establish functional strategies (typically segment-specific).
Independent judgment requiring the analysis of variable factors and choosing the best course of action. Judgment is exercised on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks.
Think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges in an enterprise environment.
Consult for optimal design of database environments, analyzing complex distributed production deployments, and making recommendations to optimize performance.
Provide expertise across the cloud-stack, both to other team members, to our broad digital knowledge repository.
Provide thoughtful recommendations for improvements, both for manual processes and opportunities for automation.


Required Qualifications


8 years of experience in an Information Technology environment
2 years of experience in an application development or support area
2 years of experience managing numerous projects and/or teams while overseeing large-scale, highly visible programs, possess a thorough knowledge of processes, technology, communications, and operations.
2 years of work experience within Oracle or Azure Cloud.
Oracle or Azure cloud certification.
Experience with leading calls (engaging in relevant conversation and steering output) as well as leading team members where and when needed.
Provide thoughtful recommendations for improvements, both for manual processes and opportunities for automation.


Preferred Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field

Work-At-Home Requirements


To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:


o At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.

o Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.

o Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership. (See Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL Connection in Exceptions, Section 7.0 in this policy.)

o Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

o Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
