Work you’ll do

In this position, you will support Microsoft Power BI Dev, QA and Production environments for our client. This requires SQL security, operations and reporting with Azure experience as well.

The team

Systems Engineering

Our Systems Engineering team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.

Systems Engineering professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts.

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of overall IT experience

• 5 years of Microsoft Power BI software installation, configuration experience, authentication, authorization

• 5 years of Microsoft Power BI reports design, development, deployment experience

• 5 years of Microsoft SQL Server basic database administration such as backups, restores, T-SQL queries, indexing, performance tuning, table design, stored procedures, user defined functions creation

• 5 years of Microsoft SQL Integration Servers (SSIS) Extract, Load and Transform (ETL) packages creation, deployment and maintenance

• 2 years of basic MS Servers administration – User Management, Certificates Management, Supporting scheduled patching, shutdown/restart/startup servers etc, PowerShell Scripting to copy, move files from source to destination locations, knowledge on SFTP, FTPS, TLS protocols

Desisred Qualifications

• Azure DevOps, Git experience for workload management, agile cadence and source code versions, automated deployments (CI/CD) management

• Azure AD integration with Power BI

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
