Description

The Lead, IAM Access Governance will be responsible for defining new access certifications, managing the certification campaign cycles until completion and for continued maintenance and support of data security policies and procedures. The candidate must be able to collaborate with business stakeholders to capture IAM use cases and define IAM processes. The candidate will work closely with IAM management, Engineers, Architects and managing the IAM Access Governance team. The Lead, IAM Access Governance works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities

The Lead, IAM Access Governance coordinates the implementation and modification of new and existing access controls in accordance with industry and compliance standards. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision. Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action. The Lead, IAM Access Governance will also work closely with teams in other IAM and cyber security disciplines, as well as internal and external audit teams. This position plays a crucial role in driving the IAM strategy to enhance and strengthen the security posture of enterprise while meeting the business needs. In addition, provides an enterprise-wide view of access controls to align with the control library.

The Lead, IAM Access Governance works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. They will also be responsible for executive briefings, IAM access governance presentations, leading meetings and defining access governance dashboards and roadmaps. They will need to exercise independent judgement and decision making on complex issues to determine the best course of action, and serve as an advisor/coach for IAM professionals, including Product Managers and operational teams.

Responsibilities:

The Lead, IAM Access Governance will manage all aspects of delivery of IAM governance capabilities.


Acts as the IAM access governance leader within the company.
Acts as a liaison to audit partners for IAM related audit inquires.
Establish, align on and communicate risk assessment processes and OKRs.
Drive development of dashboards and reports using analytics, metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress.
Collaborate intra-team as well as with broader internal and external stakeholders, including operations, product, governance, business teams and partners. Share information and results effectively and succinctly with right level of information detail.
Develop and communicate intelligence about evolving IAM controls, and drive incorporation into process and product roadmaps.


Experience/Qualifications:


Significant Sailpoint product knowledge and experience, including the development and implementation of certifications and IIQ policy based controls.
Ability to effectively prioritize what matters and manage multiple streams of work at the same time.
Successful track record in facilitating and consulting across teams and managing projects.
Ability to set and track product performance goals. Use and present usage and performance data that influence product direction and development.
Bachelor's degree and 8 years of technical experience, or equivalent and 2 years of IT or IAM risk governance experience.
Experience working with control frameworks such as HITRUST CSF, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, CSA-CCM
Skilled at identifying security risks and exposures
Strong ability to assess urgency and prioritization and make good decisions based upon situational circumstances
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others
Analytical and problem solving skills


Preferred Qualifications


Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
8 years of technical cyber security experience
Prior experience in the Identity & Access management (IAM) industry
Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CGEIT, Cloud certifications such as CCSP, CCSK, CSP-based certifications).
