Description

The Lead, IT Compliance audits the most complex new and existing information systems applications to ensure that appropriate controls exist, that processing is efficient and accurate, and that information systems procedures are in compliance with corporate standards. The Lead, IT Compliance works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities

The Lead, IT Compliance works with all parts of IT to ensure that the appropriate controls exist, operate effectively and that information systems procedures are in compliance with industry and corporate standards. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

You will assist the Director of IT Risk Governance and Vice President of IT Risk and Compliance by managing the efforts and associated projects required to successfully pass the SOX, SOC-1, and SOC-2 annual engagements. This will require the ability to perform control identification, control evaluation, control testing, and associated risk and control consulting to ensure these goals are met. In some cases, this information may need to be gathered and managed using both qualitative and quantitative techniques.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

Detailed understanding IT SOX and impact of Sections 302 and 404 and associated workflows

Background with the SSAE-18 Standard and applicability to SOC-1 and SOC-2 Type 2 reports

Past experience with SOC-2 report and applicable five Trust Principles

Detailed understanding of COBIT and COSO frameworks and applicability to IT Compliance

Detailed understanding of COSO Principle 11 and applicability to IT Entity Level Controls (ELCs)

Ability to apply SOX/SOC background to Humana application landscape and to apply improvements of existing controls

Strong knowledge of SOC and SOX IT Audit skills and techniques

Ability to perform and lead all steps of a Control Self-Assessment within the IT Compliance arena

Direct leadership of contractors and/or associates

Background in presenting and sharing technically complex IT Compliance information to senior executives

Successful track record in facilitating and consulting across teams and managing projects

Comfortable operating in an environment of high ambiguity

Strong focus on attention to detail and documentation skills.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

General understanding of diverse technologies (i.e. mainframe, server, mobile, cloud)

Ability to demonstrate advanced emotional, situational, and social intelligence

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as CISA, CIA, CRISC, CGEIT

Experience with Enterprise Solution Point (ESP)

External Audit experience
