Cloud Administrator

Profile

THE POSITION

As a Cloud Administrator you will play a critical role in the administration, security, and automation of our robust cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of existing technology services and systems. Partnering with Cloud Engineering, Data Systems, and DevOps, you will be a critical decision-maker in driving continuous technology improvements and enhancements within our environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Troubleshooting and resolving issues across our entire technology stack

Windows/MacOS

Azure/O365

AWS (Amazon Web Services)

Be the primary point of support for employees on hardware, network, and software issues

Work with our third-party vendor in hardware management (procurement, testing, deploying, RMA’s)

Create/maintain technical documentation and contribute to employee knowledge base

Lead various IT projects in collaboration with Engineering, DevOps, and Data Systems

Help develop and evolve processes to improve the effectiveness of internal systems and workflows through scripting & automation

QUALIFICATIONS

2 years of experience in Information Technology, preferably in a Helpdesk role

Have experience supporting Microsoft systems (Windows/Azure/O365)

Excellent troubleshooting methodology, agnostic to tech stack

Willingness to learn new things, take on a challenge and not be afraid of making mistakes

Have effective communication skills (active listening, asking questions, open to collaboration, managing up, etc.)

Self-motivated who can excel being autonomous in a hybrid environment

Have demonstrated capacity to work under deadlines & balance competing priorities

High aptitude in critical thinking & attention to detail

Occasional overtime and weekend work in an on-call rotation required (outages only)

4 years of experience in Information Technology, preferably in a Systems Administrator role (Preferred)

Familiarity with key automation frameworks/languages, such as Python, PowerShell, Microsoft Flow, PowerApps (Preferred)

Certifications in Windows, O365, Azure & AWS (Preferred)
