Learn more about Splunk careers and how you can become a part of our journey!Responsibilities:Manage a team responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Salesforce platform and day-to-day operationsDefine standards for the Salesforce platform including Apex, Lightning, integration, permissions and security standards in collaboration with the overall Salesforce teamDefine short and long term platform roadmapPublish bi-weekly dashboard into the health of the platformEngage with the overall Salesforce team to educate and provide guidance on standards as well as develop roadmaps to reduce technical debt in conjunction with ongoing project workResponsible for processes and tools related to Salesforce deployment (i.e. CICD), monitoring (via Splunk)Support new applications and integrations for the Salesforce ecosystem in conjunction with architecture and delivery teamsSupport demand intake processes through evaluation of new requests, scoping and resource planningOversee Salesforce platform operations including release planning, environment management, integration setup and managementManage application installs for new AppExchange packagesOversee the Salesforce technical debt reduction processes in conjunction with delivery teamsCollaborate across the organization, build connections and relationships and foster ownership in our SalesforceProvide leadership, mentorship and development through regular 1:1s and check-ins with your direct team; hire and on-board new talentRequirements:8 years of experience developing, architecting and deploying technically complex solutions on the Salesforce platform including Apex, Custom Objects, Workflow Rules, Custom Fields, Validation Rules, VisualForce, and LightningThorough and current understanding of major enterprise business systems platforms and technologies including Salesforce, Impartner (or equivalent PRM), Apptus, SAP (or equivalent), Salesforce CPQThorough understanding of integration concepts, methodologies, and technologies; functional knowledge of MuleSoftExperience with relevant sales, service, and back office processesExperience designing and executing a development roadmap collaborating with business and IT stakeholdersExperience creating and delivering appropriate documentation, training and communication around feature(s) and process changesMust be able to explain complex systems and technical topics in a clear, concise manner to others who may have minimal technical knowledge using oral, written and visual presentationsSituational Adaptability is a key ingredient to being successful in this role as the technical debt and platform improvement activities need to be balanced against business deliverablesAbility to lead and align multiple stakeholders across various levels of the organizationAttention to detail with a proactive mindset and the ability to work as part of a broader teamYou have the desire to learn and apply new technologiesPreferred Experience:Salesforce Admin; Developer I; Integration, Sharing Security Architect certifications recommendedEducation:Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent years of industry experience.What We Offer You: Wow, I want that.A constant stream of new things for you to learn.
