Job Description The IS&T Data Analyst will be able to analyze internal and external data sources to identify trends and opportunities and support the department’s decision-making. He/she will be able to develop trust quickly by demonstrating broad and deep business understanding, sincere interest in the customer journey, and empathetically relate to challenges expressed or discovered. He/she should be able to understand multivariable cause and effect scenarios and identify key root causes.

Analyze data using statistical techniques and providing reports

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

Develop strategies with the businesses to clean and maintain a good quality of data in the source systems

Locate and define with the businesses new process improvement opportunities

Ability to clearly and effectively communicate in both written and oral formats

Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail

Open collaborative style; ability to work in a team environment and autonomously with minimal supervision or direction

Superior information visualization skills

In-depth understanding of organizational data flow and its use in management decision-making

Experience with Customer Experience analysis, including satisfaction, adoption/conversion, segmentation

Master Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, AWS Redshift, etc.…)

Experience with Python, Apache Spark, NoSQL/Hadoop, SQL, Machine Learning or Artificial intelligence is helpful

Experience with visualization tools a plus (Sisense, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Qlik, etc.)

Experience in Quality Systems (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) and/or ISO14001 is a plus

Understand AGILE project management methodologies

At times function as a SCRUM lead

Qualifications Education / Experience / Background

Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Technology, Information System, Computer Science or equivalent

Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Technology, Information System, Computer Science or equivalent a plus, but not required

1 years’ in Data or Business Analysis related fields

1 years of overall experience working with utilities, telecom, cable/internet or similar industry, preferably related to Customer Service, Customer Operations or Customer Experience

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Some but not all of the following:

Ability to clearly and effectively communicate in both written and oral formats

Great analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail

Open collaborative style; ability to work in a team environment and autonomously with minimal supervision or direction

Superior information visualization skills
