Description:

Working within the HR systems team, you will provide a customer focused, first line system support and associated administration duties for the HR & Payroll system. This includes managing a dedicated email inbox and dealing with day to day enquiries from internal and external customers. The HR & Payroll System comprises many modules which also includes our online recruitment system for University job vacancies, Employee Self-Service and Manager Self-Service as well as other devolved user access. You will be required to further develop and maintain our HR Sharepoint webpages which provide a wealth of information for our customers. You will also provide administrative support to system upgrades, which includes planning, administering and testing, ensuring all relevant testing has been completed by the HR team. To succeed in this role, you will have a keen interest in systems and be able to demonstrate examples of delivering high levels of customer service in an effective, flexible way when providing detailed advice and guidance. A pro-active and problem-solving approach will be required along with working collaboratively, seeking continuous improvement where possible, whilst ensuring attention to detail. This is a part-time position working 31.5 hours per week Monday to Friday on a fixed term basis until 23 April 2024 to cover a period of absence.
