Summary of Duties

Plan, design, build and promote the College of Business Internet and intranet, Web presence, portal, and Digital Measures interfaces. Instruct CB personnel on how to update their websites. Design and build UI/UX for college web applications and other web services. Design and produce publications for web or mobile delivery.

Position Qualifications

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in information science or related field and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in web site design, development and maintenance. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Additional Requirements

Demonstrated experience using web-based applications to make use of externally provided web services.

Demonstrated experience in the configuration and use of a variety of software products including but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Outlook 2003 or newer in an Exchange environment, Web browsers, Web Authoring software (i.e., SharePoint Designer 2007, Visual Studio.net, Macromedia Dreamweaver,

ODBC

Reporting Tools, etc.)

Must have or be able to obtain at time of hire a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in higher education, a complex academic institution or similar complex organization.

Demonstrated knowledge of Web requirements for Americans with Disabilities Act (

ADA

Experience developing and preparing layouts and images for a variety of print and/or electronic media, making page layout and typographic decisions.

Demonstrated knowledge of copyright laws.

Demonstrated interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Digital Measures Activity Insight.
