The Lead Cloud (Security Innovation) Architect leads the planning, strategy, and evaluation of innovative solutions in the cloud space across multiple platforms, and business & IT stakeholders. They will work with cloud/domain/solution architects, senior business leaders, and product owners to understand and advance the strategy they are enabling with their products and teams. The Lead Cloud Security Innovation Architect will identify suitable products, define product requirements and evaluation criteria, conduct POC/POT of the short- listed products and publish the analysis of the findings.

Responsibilities

The Lead Cloud (Security Innovation) Architect leads the planning, strategy, and evaluation of innovative solutions in the cloud space across multiple platforms, and business & IT stakeholders. They will work with cloud/domain/solution architects, senior business leaders, and product owners to understand and advance the strategy they are enabling with their products and teams. The Lead Cloud (Security Innovation) Architect will identify suitable products, define product requirements and evaluation criteria, conduct POC/POT of the short- listed products and publish the analysis of the findings. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Responsibilities

Research new technologies, processes, and solutions to enhance capabilities across the teams

Provide thought leadership and own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific innovation challenge projects; define potential implementation architectures.

Ensure team is following standardization, technical guidelines, security needs, and design patterns aligned to enterprise architecture and strategy.

Work with Directors/VP, Enterprise/Domain Architect, Managers in both business and IT.

Define the vision and architecture strategy for transforming the current technology landscape by adopting cloud and SaaS based platforms to simplify the ecosystem and enable innovation and interoperability

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

8 or more years of technical experience directly related to architecture/engineering, information security, or other specialized technology field

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

2 Years of experience of Agile Project/Product implementation with latest DevOps tools and principles

Exceptional verbal, written and presentation and ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders

Strong understanding of cloud architecture, preferably using Microsoft Azure and/or GCP cloud platform, design patterns, cloud operations and at least one year of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Masters or Doctorate Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field

Exposure to healthcare industry, knowledge of Medicare Risk Adjustment process and EDI knowledge.

Experience with Azure cloud platform, Azure DevOps platform, Automation via CI/CD pipelines Terraform, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Logic Apps, and Databricks and/or have great understanding of other public cloud computing architectures and services.

Architecture Certification in one of the leading cloud platforms, Azure is preferred

Work-At-Home Requirements

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated (preferred) or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work.
