Absolutely!nWhat youu2019ll learn & achieve:nUL is seeking a Software Developer to join an experienced Scrum Team consisting of a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Quality Assurance Analysts, Software Engineers, Front-end Developers, and Architects.  The candidate will be responsible for hands on development across multiple technology stacks, frameworks, and tools (Visual basic 6, C#, .Net multiple versions, .Net Core, HTML, CSS, ASP.Net Web API, Microsoft Sql Server).n nThe Software Developer will be working on desktop applications, windows services, and web-based development initiatives, ensuring software development life cycle activities are consistent with the direction set by the Architects or Development Team Lead and/or generally accepted best practices.  As part of a Scrum Team, you will be responsible for participating in all team ceremonies and committing to a team-first attitude.  You will be part of a team of peers working on highly technical, enterprise initiatives initiated by Product Owners via a prioritized portfolio of features.n nJob duties include code development, code testing, research, tool evaluation, documenting patterns and standards, technology evaluation and recommendation.  Software Developers must be able to take high-level direction, work with senior engineers to formulate a plan to achieve goals and execute against Stories and Tasks.n nResponsibilities:nn As part of a Scrum Team, deliver high quality, u201cdoneu201d work, which is Production ready at the end of each Sprintn Be willing to work on whatever the Scrum Team decides is importantn Work with the Development Team Lead on technical, enterprise initiatives and deliver clear, documented, and well-formed opinions, research, and solutionsnnWhat makes you a great fit:nn University degree in CS or related disciplinen Experience with .Net \ .Net Core, C# and the Microsoft stack of technologies.n Experience with Visual Basic 6.n Experience with RESTful web services a plus.n Demonstrated logical and technical problem-solving skillsn Demonstrated ability to learn and quickly comprehend new conceptsn Demonstrated strong judgment and decision-making abilityn Experience in web standards such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as browser capabilitiesn Demonstrable knowledge of unit testing back end business logic.n Excellent written and oral communication skillsn UL has COVID-19 protocols and policies in place to ensure the safety of our employees, customers and clients.
