Senior Technical Analyst IT Systems Management

Job Details:

Senior Technical Analyst will take ownership of writing technical requirements, building landscape diagrams, overseeing developer testing , and a lead to developers for technical questions. As a Senior Technical Analyst, you should be able to write take business requirements and translate into technical requirements, create high-level design documents and diagram, and understand technical conversations.

The Senior Technical Analyst should possess strong knowledge about Agile methodologies. You will be working closely with the development team leads to help coordinate efforts.

Responsibilities

Monitor technical tasks that need to be written.

Plan sprints and groom stories with product owners, business analyst, keep developers on task

Monitor release schedule, stay up to date with delivery schedule

Work with tech leads to hash out release plan

Monitor and follow up in day-to-day activities/adhoc tasks or activities.

Help coordinate technical development efforts.

Test or review stories (software deliverables) to validate good and valid finished product

Remove impediments for team to allow movement to completion in sprints

Manage multiple projects at one time, prioritizing work as needed.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or an equivalent degree with experience equating to a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.

4 years of working in software development team

Strong knowledge on JIRA

Experience with working in an Agile/Scrum development project

Experience writing technical documentation

Experience with Planisware (or like portfolio management tool)

Project Life Cycle knowledge

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
