We currently have an opening for an SQL DBA/Developer with our client in Tampa, FL

Length: permanent
Location: Tampa, FL
Pay Rate: up to $100,000 (might pay more), depending on experience
This client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of interior doors and entry door systems.
This position reports to the Director of Financial Systems, and is accountable for creating, enhancing and maintaining Masonite’s Business Intelligence, SQL and Data Warehouse environments while ensuring compliance with corporate processes and controls.
Responsibilities:
Review, design and implement modifications to data warehouse and BI applications through Development to Test and Production in accordance with processes and controls
Work with MBI team to gather new business requirements, design and implement new Hyperion Essbase applications, calculations, and load rules
Design and implement highly available production systems with SQL Server 2008 databases
Design and document database architecture, Data Modeling, Logical and Physical data models
Build database schema, tables, procedures and permissions
Oversee backup, mirroring, replication and failover
Restore and recover corrupted databases
Write and support SSIS packages for the data transformation
Resolve database performance issues and database capacity issues
Assist in the definition and implementation of database standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent experience required
5 years’ experience in SQL database administration and development required
Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or MS SQL Server including stored procedures, views, functions, and DTS/SSIS packages
Excellent procedural and database programming skills, including object security management and relational modeling
Demonstrated strengths in developing high-availability client server OLTP and OLAP applications
Comprehensive knowledge of data warehouse schemas and technologies
Fluency in interpreting and programming advanced TSQL stored procedures
Strong operational experience with backup and recovery
Strong understanding of the Windows Server Operating System
Experience using SQL BIDS, ESSBASE, OLAP, Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Financial Management an asset
Experience with implementing and using Hyperion Shared Services, Hyperion Workspace, Hyperion Smart view an asset
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
