The Enterprise Inventory & Reporting (EIR) Team is looking for a Data Warehouse Integration Engineer to work on data warehouse source integration, data modeling, performance enhancement, tuning and ongoing support of new and existing applications and tools.

The Data Warehouse Integration Engineer is a critical role in helping Technology with achieving its operational short and longer term goals supporting a variety of critical enterprise-based initiatives that allow us to drive forward with new solutions and adhere to achieving our safety and soundness goals, implementing regulatory compliance standards while delving into new business requirements and environmental demands differently. This position demands a very action-oriented strategic focus, critical thinking, and risk-averse focus on implementation techniques and controls. Our goal is to support the greater vision, serving as an informational gateway for data intelligence that drives decision making and to motivate positive change while mitigating risk for the organization.

This position will be a part of the ACME Data Management Services team (ADMS); working to enhance, build and deliver new and existing application components and functionality in alignment with SQL data vault 2.0 warehouse standards. Engineer will be responsible for the creation, peer review and implementation of data artifacts for the DMS and application development teams and be the technical SME for the technology, application, architecture, and data structures built. Position will require extremely savvy business acumen and consulting skills, ability to understand and translate the business and technical requirements into stages of development in order to ensure full completion of requirements in agreed time frame. Engineer will serve as technical SME and a driver for developer conference requirements partnering with AGILE SCRUM teams and Business Systems Consultant(s) to review business and technical requirements and specifications. Will work closely with Production Support and business partners (as needed) to conduct all project tasks, including mandatory compliance and regulatory activities in adherence to SDLC and security policies. Candidate will partner with Tech Writers and Process Consultants to create/maintain required technical documentation. Position requires performing peer reviews, writing detailed testing scripts in partnership with QA team, and meeting the mandates of all SDLC, ALM and QA guidelines. Candidate will be expected to coordinate with our internal business units and leadership, communicate expectations and progress. Candidate must be solution and detail oriented, creating competitive advantage through various technologies and solid foundation of design methodologies.

Expectations include:

Analyzing highly complex business requirements, writing technical specifications for the design or redesign of complex computer platforms and applications.

Performance and application tuning solutions for the design/build of new applications and work on existing applications.

Work with a talented team on efforts related to and driving toward our TMT data vault operations, including development for products that assist our business partners run their day to day operations. This job requires knowledge of database development, architecture, application validation and usability, and UI Design.

Developing new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides.

Assuring quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.

Assisting in troubleshooting production issues and working with team members to effectively analyze, solution, and fix identified problems that may impact multiple platforms and applications.

Developing and maintaining enterprise level data storage and reporting repositories.

Following or improving consulting, design, and communication best practices.

Obtaining, considering and involving line of business feedback in design improvements.

Ability to observe, conduct and increase performance optimization and conduct data profiling.

Ability to do data modeling by defining and analyzing data requirements needed to support the business processes in various organizations and implement modeling in a fashion to administer/organize it for business intelligence engineering.

Work with Systems and Development teams on designs, SQL performance optimization

Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, constraints, partitioning, in-memory optimization (OLTP) and statistics.

Required Qualifications:

7 years of application development and implementation experience

7 years of SQL experience
