you must have a strong background in Data
Warehouse
design and architecture. You also have strong modeling/architecture (normalized and multi-dimensional) experience with DBMS/RDMS. You must be comfortable with developing new products from the concept phase onward, as well as taking complex and challenging existing systems and quickly developing expertise in maintaining/enhancing them. You must be able to follow software development processes, prepare detailed documentation and generate work estimates in an Agile, RAD and other SDLC environment. You must be quality conscious and be dedicated to delivering quality products on time.
REQUIRED Skills and Qualifications:
5 or more years of hands-on experience with Oracle Databases.
5 or more years of experience with database
architectures, design, development and replication topologies.
Determine appropriateness of data storage, archive, purge and backup strategies.
Database
designing, database
performance, management and tuning experience.
Develop and enforce database
standards and procedures.
Experience in database
development field.
Capable of communicating in both verbal and written form to the level of published.
Maintains and enhances existing analytics, data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading processes to continuously improve efficiency and quality control
Bachelor of Science Degree; preferable in Computer Science.
Strong database
design and development experience.
Experience with common data modeling tools
Data Modeling experience (Logical/Physical/Dimensional;)
Able to design, code, debug and maintain database
schemas & store procedures
Must be able to develop technical specification and documentation
Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills
High proficiency with SQL and query tuning in an Oracle environment
