Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Working with NYS Agency representatives to develop report specifications and understand Agency business rules.

Write complex SQL, PL/SQL, Packages and Triggers against an enterprise Oracle database.

Performance tuning report SQL/PLSQL to improve efficiency.

Perform data analysis and root-cause analysis.

Develop and maintain reports using Crystal Reports/OBIEE.

Configure Crystal Reports/OBIEE reports in NYBE System.

Developing applications in .Net

Provide knowledge transfer to Agency report developers.

Working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

Work as a peer with other developers.

Create documentation and share knowledge with team members.

Providing Application support and being on call as required

Software Developer

Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.

Senior 60 - 84 months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education. 72 Months of Experience writing complex SQL, PL/SQL, Packages and Triggers against an enterprise Oracle database

72 Months of Experience performance tuning complex SQL/PL SQL against an enterprise Oracle database, data analysis and root cause analysis

72 Months of Experience with Crystal Reports/OBIEE designing, developing, reporting with Oracle back-end, testing and deploying

72 Months experience with building Web Applications using Vue JS, Angular, Microsoft .Net Core, .Net Core MVC, C#, Entity Framework as well as J2EE technologies EJB, Servlets, JSP, JMS, MDB, Open Java Frameworks Spring, struts, Hibernate

72 Months of development experience in web services/API via SOAP/REST, with familiarity in XML, XSD, XSLT, JSON, and WSDLs

60 Months of Experience working with stake holders to determine reporting specifications

60 Months of Web Development experience with HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, and AJAX
