Daily Tasks will include but not limited to the following: Data Warehouse design, development, support and data mining related to new and existing complex Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) routines related to Fraud Detection/Improper Payment algorithms;

Develop, test and implement program logic for data mining and ETL development;

Efficiently implement ETL technical specifications from development through test, staging and production environments;

Optimize ETL data load jobs to improve performance and automate;

Investigating and resolving data loading and/or data integrity issues;

Create solutions to improve system performance and availability;

Develop and maintain logical and physical dimensional data models for data warehouse/data mart;

Follow agency standards to ensure data accuracy and integrity through analysis and coding;

Write clear documentation of process and data modeling and all associated tasks and documents including unit and quality assurance test plans.

Work closely with Office of Special Investigations, Data Warehouse and Management staff to ensure clear communication between all parties.

Software Architect

Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system.

Expert 84 Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. 84 Months Experience developing fraud detection methodologies and transforming data elements into meaningful fraud detection queries and customer output

84 Months Knowledge in Unemployment Insurance.

84 Months Experience developing and testing query solutions using Oracle PL/SQL query.

84 Months Experience using IBM Data Stage.

84 Months Experience with UNIX Shell Scripting

84 Months Experience developing dimensional data models for Cognos data analytics

84 Months Experience with ETL design/Data Warehouse development using PL/SQL programming

84 Months Experience in tuning SQL within an Oracle environment to ensure timely and efficient execution of queries

36 Months Experience working with PPI and SSA data security requirements (working with data contained in Employee Records in a State Agency, Federal Agency or Private Organization) in a data warehouse environment.
