Aon Is Looking for a Data Analyst II: As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of Risk within Aon Affinity, in our Ft. Washington, PA or Bloomington, MN locations with remote capabilities.  Your Impact as a Data Analyst II: Aon Affinity is creating a modern data management program (data standards, MDM, ODS, data quality, etc…) in an organization with over fifty years of history and a diverse mix of modern and legacy information systems.  We seek a data analyst who is excited to take on a variety of analytical tasks and to learn new skills as the needs of our organization evolve.  Job Responsibilities: Administer our Naveego master data management system including onboarding Training users, setting policies, attaching to and mapping new data sources, and advising teams that consume mastered data.  Will support our data governance committee by helping to implement their decisions.  Use a variety of tools and technologies to execute data and analytics projects to meet specific business needs.  Being comfortable working proactively with and balancing the needs of a wide variety of stakeholders.  Required Experience:Lead a small team of analysts, developers, and subject matter experts to complete data and analytics projects to support Aon Affinity businesses.Strong SQL – the analyst will use SQL tools to maintain existing tables and manipulate data elements.  The analyst also needs to be able to read and understand ER diagrams.Moderate Python – the analyst will help modify/maintain Python based ETL code.Moderate business analysis – the analyst will work independently to gather input from multiple stakeholders while executing data standardization and migration tasks.  The analyst will be an SME on our data tools and will assist data stewards in their use.Basic project management – track tasks and manage stakeholders for small projects.Comfortable working on an agile globally distributed  project team and in a distributed/matrixed organizationWilling to learn additional data tools Preferred: Naveego admin experienceAWS SagemakerStreamSetsClouderaTableauExperience working on a Scrum teamInsurance industry domain knowledgeMaster data management experience Education:Bachelors in Math, Data Analytics, Technology, etc preferred. We offer you:A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.About Aon:Aon plc (NYSE:AON) is a leading global professional services firm providing a broad range of risk, retirement and health solutions. Our 50,000 colleagues in 120 countries empower results for clients by using proprietary data and analytics to deliver insights that reduce volatility and improve performance.By applying for a position with Aon, you understand that, should you be made an offer, it will be contingent on your undergoing and successfully completing a background check consistent with Aon's employment policies.
