Information Systems Manager Jobs description
An information systems manager is involved in the installation of computer systems; buying hardware and software; contributing to organizational policy with regard to quality standards and strategic planning; directing the work of systems/business analysts, programmers, and support specialists; evaluating user needs and system functionality; planning, developing, and implementing budgets; scheduling upgrades and security backups; ensuring adherence to software licensing laws; providing secure access to networks and protection from internal and external attack; and hiring information systems interns.Information systems manager positions may be available with IT companies or the software development units of other types of companies.
