Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer Jobs description
The essential functions of a lead software quality assurance engineer include performance testing, managing projects, executing regression tests, function tests and data tests, creating and modifying automated test scripts, estimating software quality assurance projects and performing the software quality assurance work on projects. A lead software quality assurance engineer is responsible for testing web services, escalating issues, making estimations of software quality assurance projects, documenting quality assurance practices, reporting, tracking and determining priority of reported bugs, capturing results and anomalies as well as interfacing with development and project management staff and facilitating defect resolution and conducting review meetings.A lead software quality assurance engineer should be competent in process orientation and conflict resolution. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required for this position along with experience in informatica usage, Load runner usage, programming especially Java and C, QTP usage and TOAD usage and good communication skills along with experience in this domain.
