SAP System Administrator Jobs description
The essential functions of a SAP system administrator consist of management of SAP integration and configuration, administering the database of SAP system, maintaining and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of SAP system, providing data entry so that SAP projects are implemented, defining Root Cause Analysis and Documenting, implementing CO and FI modules and supporting SAP system modules for CO and FI, maintaining and supporting IT security, identifying and implementing application solutions, identifying risks and testing the changes in the programs as well as writing and maintaining design documentation. A SAP system administrator is responsible for correct and efficient usage of business applications, the company’s IT facilities and networking.A bachelor’s degree or a diploma in IT or equivalent is required for the position of a SAP system administrator with experience in SAP configuration. A SAP system administrator should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and should be well conversant with SAP, SQL programming and Crystal Reports, SAP R/3 4.6C and ECC 5.0, SAP BI 7.0 along with experience in requirements analysis, application design, construction, cross-module integrations, cut-over strategies, testing strategies, and post go-live support.
