Senior Applications Engineer Jobs description
The primary responsibilities of a senior applications engineer include providing conceptual and final designs, preparing company standards and specifications, drafting test components, mechanical devices as per designing and drafting standards, designing and analyzing systems, products and components with technical expertise, designing and developing complex models or simulations as well as applying analytical techniques, control strategies and advanced computer programs to identify and resolve problems. He/she represents the companies in meetings and conferences and also interacts and maintains relationship with customers to resolve significant technical issues.The position of a senior applications engineer requires proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings, knowledge of UNIX and/or DBMS development environments, FORTRAN, C, C++ languages and associated debugging tools, Network Analysis tools: Load Flow, Contingency, Analysis, State Estimation, and power system simulators, Visual Basic and Object Oriented methods, SQL, memcache, JavaScript, FBML, FBJS. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent is required for the position of a senior applications engineer.
