We are seeking an experienced Platform Owner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for owning, developing, maintaining, and optimizing our Atlassian Cloud toolset, which includes Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and other related tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams across the organization and ensure the effectiveness, stability, reliability, and performance of our Atlassian toolset.

Responsibilities
Description of duties and responsibilities:

Demonstrate ownership of our Atlassian Cloud toolset, including administration, maintenance, and optimization
Design, configure, and maintain Atlassian tools to meet business requirements
Create custom workflows and scripts to improve efficiency and productivity
Manage user access and permissions in Atlassian applications
Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve any issues with our Atlassian tools
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Atlassian tools with other systems
Keep up to date with industry trends and recommend improvements to our toolset
Lead training sessions and provide support to ensure all teams can effectively use the Atlassian toolset

Qualifications
Special knowledge, skills and abilities required:
 
\u2022 Expertise in Jira workflow administration and developing corporate governance for Atlassian products\u2022 A broad understanding of agile software development practices
\u2022 Proficient in at least one or more scripting languages and experience with APIs and webhooks
\u2022 Strong analytical and time management skills
\u2022 Proven ability to work in a dynamic agile environment.
\u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 
Education and experience required:

Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline.
7 years of relevant job experience in an enterprise environment (1000 users) using Confluence, Jira Service Management, Jira Software, and Bitbucket cloud-based products.
Masters degree can be substituted for 2 years of experience.
Experience working in Agile development methodologies.
Experience implementing and maintaining Atlassian Cloud and third-party plugins.
Experience with setup and configuration of Atlassian workspaces to external services (ex: Salesforce, ERP systems, Microsoft 365, Quality Assurance systems, etc.).
